Welcome to Mrs. Harshberger's Page
Mrs. Mary Ann Harshberger
Welcome to a new school year!
I am the Reading Coordinator for Grades K-4. I am teaching Reading and Phonics for Grades 1 and 3, Spelling and Math Drill for Mrs. Johnson's class, Life Skills for Grades 1-4, and Health for Grades 5-6.
Student assignments are posted each day on the assignment board as well as on the Our Lady of Mercy Website.
Each student is given time at the start of each class to copy the information into their student planner.
They are expected to complete and submit each assignment in a timely fashion.
For your convenience, student assignments and necessary reminders will also be posted on this web site and updated daily or as needed.
Please initial your child's planner each night when homework has been completed.
Don't forget to add your information so you can receive the daily homework updates for your child.
If you need to contact me please write a note or call the school office at (201)391-3838. I will make every effort to respond in a timely manner. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org.

Students meet once a week to work on mastering their math facts.
Along with this weekly class, parents must encourage their children practice their facts DAILY using any games or online resources at home.
