Tuition and Fees

Note:  Families who receive the parishioner tuition rate are subsidized by the Newark Archdiocese.  They are expected to be active members of a parish within the Newark Archdiocese, participate at weekly Mass and contribute at least $15 per week in support of their parish.  Families who are members of a parish other than Our Lady of Mercy must have their pastor sign a Verification of Active Parishioner Status form.  This form is available in the school office.  If you are not an active member of your parish (as defined above) a $500 inactive parishioner fee will be added to your tuition invoice.

          Non-Parishioner add-on is $1500              per student.        
Tuition may be paid annually or in 10 monthly installments through FACTS Management.  
             
LATE TUITION POLICY
Upon advice of the Archdiocesan auditors,  a late fee is charged for tuition payments more than 10 days past due.
             
K-8 FEES          
Registration $225 per student     Due at Registration

Graduation $300 per student     Billed with tuition  
Out of State Book Fee $60 Per student     Billed with tuition  
Parent Ambassador Dues  $50.00 per family     Due at Registration  
             
FAMILY FUNDRAISING OBLIGATION        
1.  $800 K-8 family fundraising obligation.  Families may opt out by paying $650.  
2.  $150 Pre-K-4 fundraising obligation.  Families may opt out by paying $100.  
3. $250 8th Grade fundraising obligation.  Families may opt out  by paying $200.  
             
SERVICE OBLIGATION           
Pre-4 is required to complete 1 School Service (Provide hospitality treats such as cookies, etc.)
K-7 is required to complete 1 One School Service and 1 Lunch Service.  Opt out is $100 each.
8th Grade is required 2 Services (1 being 8th Grade specific), 2 Lunches.  Opt out is $100 each.

The Scholarship for Inner-City Children
 
Families with children in grades K-12 attending Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Newark are eligible to apply for assistance.  Scholarships are based upon financial need.  Additional information about this program can be found on the SFIC website at: https://www.sficnj.org/parent-portal/
