Today in class we created a scenario where you had collected Easter eggs.  We counted up the total and then figured out what percent each of you collected.
 
Tonight, I would like you to create your own scenario.  You must have a total that is not an easy number like 50 or 100.  You must have at least 5 categories.  Show that you understand how to figure out the percentage of each category. 
 
  • Round to the nearest percent
  • Show your work for any math you do (even if you use a calculator, write it all down)
  • If you use Skittles, M & M's, or some other candy, do not bring them to class.
  • Check your work by adding all of the percents - they should add up to 100
